POSTCARDS EXHIBITION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Eligibility:
Open to all women and non binary photographers aged 18+ worldwide. Entries must be the original work of the participant
2. Number of Entries:
Each participant may submit up to 3 photographs. Photographs should be submitted in JPEG format.
File size: 3 MB per file.
If your project is selected, it will be printed from the file shared.
3. Submit:
You should submit a folder named: YOUR SURNAME_NAME. Please, include in this folder:
The photograph(s) in JPG format. Recommended resolution A4 size - 300 dpi. Please name your files using the following format:
LastName_FirstName_Title_Image.jpgOne representation of the postcard’s reverse (back) side, which can be submitted in one of the following formats:
A word (.doc or .docx) file containing a written message max 80 words and recipient name (real or fictional) , or a JPG image of a handwritten message, or a drawing, or you may choose to leave the postcard back side blank (indicating however, again a real or fictional recipient’s name).
Messages, when included, may be written in any language.
Please ensure all files are clearly labeled with your name and artwork title.
The following INFO FILE filled in and signed with your info: Full name of the photographer (name, surname), Title of the photograph(s), Contact information (email and phone), instagram profile and/or facebook profile and acceptance of the terms and conditions.
A Short Bio (optional).
All entries must be sent via WeTransfer (www.wetransfer.com) or a similar file-sharing service (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) to submit@womensphotofestival.org
You should receive a confirmation email after your submission. If you do not receive one, please reach out to us for assistance through our contact form in our website.
4. Deadline:
All entries must be received by 9 February, 24:00 CET.
5. Next steps
You will be notified via email.
Selected participants are required to contribute € 50,00 for covering printing and framing costs, exhibition curation and installation, administrative assistance, production management, venue hosting, design costs and media communication.
The selected photographers - artists will receive an official Certificate of Participation and Achievement in pdf form.
The festival operates on a self-sustaining basis.
Terms & Conditions
Original Work: All submitted photographs must be the original work of the participant.
Consent from Subjects:
For photographs featuring identifiable individuals, the participant must obtain written consent from all subjects.
By submitting, the participant confirms that they have obtained all necessary permissions.
Organisers are not responsible for any claims arising from lack of consent.
Copyright & Usage Rights:
Participants retain copyright ownership of their photographs.
By submitting, participants grant the organisers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and promote the photographs for festival’s-related purposes, including social media, exhibitions, publications, and marketing for the period of one year.
Disqualification:
Any entry that violates the rules, contains offensive content, or infringes on copyright or privacy rights will be disqualified.
Judging & Prizes:
Entries will be judged by the judging panel.
Decisions of the judges are final and non-contestable.
Liability:
Organisers are not responsible for technical issues during submission (file corruption, loss, etc.).
Participants submit their entries at their own risk.
Data Privacy:
Personal data collected will be used solely for festivals administration.
Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Acceptance of Terms:
By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
