Re-framing Memory
about the workshop
How do we remember, and how can we reshape the images that shape(d) us? Reframe Memory is a hands-on creative workshop inviting participants to explore personal or family photographs and transform them through artistic intervention. Using techniques such as sewing, collage, drawing, layering, cutting, or reassembling, we will work with printed images to construct new visual narratives and re-imagine the stories they carry.
Participants are encouraged to bring photographs from their family archives—or any images that hold meaning for them. Through guided exercises, individual experimentation, and group conversation, the workshop creates a supportive space to play, reflect, and rediscover the emotional and narrative potential of personal imagery.
Workshops instructors: Aimilia Balaska, Panagiota Lalousi, Eleni Mouzakiti, Anastasia Vlachaki, Penelope Petsini.
